The day of our last tea outing, I mentioned to Kim, we should go again during the holiday time when places are all decorated. We decided to go to the Beverly Hills Hotel aka “The Pink Palace” this past Saturday. Their afternoon tea is served in the famed Polo Lounge. We immediately had our first celebrity sighting…Bruce Willis!

What we all enjoyed most about our afternoon was the leisurely pace at which we were served. They did not hurry us at all. I had the vanilla earl grey tea which was truly wonderful. The sandwiches and scones were delectable. By the time our dessert showed up, we ate several but had to take the rest home. There were seven different little treats for each of us.

There was a cute, little, old couple who sat in the booth next to us. I kept looking over at the woman who was decked out in ALL her jewels, tiara included! We were so curious to know who they were so we asked our server. He said they were not allowed to disclose information on patrons, but he did mention they ate there every day! Not a bad way to live.
