Happy Birthday to me!

Every year my three Aquarian friends and former co-workers: Marni, Christina, Shelly and I celebrate our birthdays by getting together for a meal. Have you ever been to BJ’s Restaurant and gotten one of their Pizookie’s? It’s a warm, gooey cookie baked in a little deep dish pizza pan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the center. It’s certainly a delicious experience, especially when it’s free on your birthday. About 11 years ago, my friends and I went for our birthdays which are all within two weeks of each other. My friends felt guilty getting four free pizookie’s, but not me! Rarely do I share a dessert. I love making my own version and have tried different flavors. Just take your favorite cookie dough recipe, put 3 dough balls in a ramekin and bake according to the cookie recipe. I think this homemade version is just as delicious.
